Wanda (she/her) is a dedicated, skilled and hard-working law clerk with 40 years' experience helping lawyers obtain excellent results for their clients.

Wanda attended Georgian College at 17 years of age and has worked as a law clerk since she was 18. After starting her career in Toronto, she then worked for the same busy and successful litigator for nearly 30 years in the areas of insurance defence, professional liability, commercial litigation and employment law. She then worked for another litigation partner in a fast-paced environment assisting on a broad range of files including employment law, mortgage remedies, commercial litigation and real property litigation.

Wanda worked with Erin extensively from 2012-2015 and when the opportunity presented itself for them to be reunited, they both jumped at the opportunity. Wanda excels at mentoring, organizing and utilizing her 40 years’ experience in all facets of litigation.

Wanda also gives back to the community. She has been a member of Georgian College’s advisory committees for more than 20 years, and is currently the chair of the law clerk/paralegal PAC.

As the “go to” person for Durant Barristers' legal professionals and clients, Wanda is an invaluable member of the team.  Working remotely, Wanda enjoys the flexibility to travel and to be able to enjoy extended visits with her two daughters, Janelle and Kendra, in Tofino, BC.
