ANDREW PATERSON

Andrew began his legal career at one of Canada’s largest, full-service law firms, practicing in the commercial litigation group. He then struck off on his own as a sole-practitioner, where he developed a general civil litigation practice, representing clients in the Ottawa region and across Eastern Ontario. He subsequently joined one of Canada’s best boutique law firms, where he practiced international trade and procurement law, primarily before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal. Andrew brings that diverse experience, along with a reputation for outstanding client service, to Durant Barristers.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Andrew served for ten years as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. He now provides pro bono services and legal representation to a variety of veteran based charities and organizations.

Andrew lives in Ottawa with his wife and two young sons.
